SS501 Greets “Debut 2000 days, We Are Still One”

On 28-Nov, 5-member male group SS501 had their 2000 days of debut and expressed their thankfulness to their fans.

SS501’s magnae HyungJun wished for the best for 5 members through his own twitter account “It's 2000 days already~ I pray for all 5 of us to work hard and be filled only with even happier things”.

In addition he said “And Green Peas who have always walked beside us , thank you ^^ Mansae Mansae Mansae” conveying his thankful message to the fans.

Lead vocal YoungSaeng said in a cute manner congratulating their 2000 days “Today is already 2000days?? Time flies~~~” and “You and I, we are all (growing) old together~keke”

KyuJong also expressed his thankfulness with the flood of fans’ congratulatory messages “Thank you!! Let’s congratulate each other!!!^^”

With an upcoming album release, JungMin expressed ”It's 2000 days! I am with this guy HyungJunnie while he posted (tweet?) himself keke Thank you to those who have given us love beyond that in these 2000 days !!^^”

In addition, JungMin watched HyungJun’s musical play ‘Café-in’ and left a supportive message “Will be looking forward to it! Strive on!^^ Please give lots of love to Café-in!”

Meanwhile, SS501 ended their contract with their initial agency DSP Media in June and members signed with different agencies.

23rd (Nov) Kim Kyu Jong posted at his twitter "Hey look at this kid~~~ Making (funny) faces~~Oo-ing?!" along with a kissing scene photo of Kim Hyung Jun.

The kiss photo was taken from a scene from Kim Hyung Jun's muscial 'Cafe-In', from the photo can see that Kim Hyung Jun's eyes were shut, and lips were pressed onto mouth of actress Oh Geum Ji.

On this, Kim Kyu Jong used a jealous tone to tease Kim Hyung Jun.

Kim Hyun Joong Might Spend Christmas with Male Friends Again

 

Kim Hyunjoong who had officially challenged the acting field will be holding an exciting Christmas after ending filming for his first role-leading drama [Playful Kiss]. Different from others, he has plans to spend a slightly special year end this year, as was told in interview.

"I think I'll be spending my Christmas this year with males again", as he said it in as if it was nothing the case. Kim Hyunjoong who wears his personality on such good looks of his lets people find it unbelievable that he will spend Christmas with males.

"Last last year was with Jaejoong hyung, last year was with Youngsaeng. For this year's Christmas, because I don't have any special particular schedule, I feel relieved. But on 26th, I'll be leaving for Taiwan for [Playful Kiss] promotion, so on 25th I guess I'll need to pack up my luggage right?", "I'm puzzling over what to do on 25th. My other friends have girlfriends so if we meet up, it'll look like I'm off with nothing...", as he expresses his sadness.

"I don't have any girl whom I fancy now, and I don't have chances nor time to have any. Until now in my life, I don't think I've spent Christmas with any girl before. This year will be my 3rd consecutive year to spend with males", as he seemingly expressed his giving in to fate.

Kim Hyunjoong also showed his desire to walk on the streets of Myungdong on Christmas. Is it interesting to observe people on the streets? It may be an ordinary matter for us, but to Kim Hyunjoong, this isn't acceptable. It seems like it'll still probably be difficult to see Kim Hyunjoong treading on the streets of Myungdong since he will be seen by so many people.

Last 12th (November), Kim Hyunjoong stood on the stage reaching out to people worldwide as he took his spot as a Korean rep to a greater height. He was a representative as a Korean singer who stood on the stage of the 2010 Guangzhou Asian Game opening ceremony as he sung to the theme song "Sunshine Again".

At that time in the broadcast, announcers introduced him as 'the representative singer from Korea stood right before the eyes of people worldwide', as they praised him like that. To this Kim Hyunjoong said he felt so shy about it because "they announced and expressed it in such a loud manner, I was so shameful (good)", "I just came to stand on that venue in the split of a moment, at that time, thoughts like holding a concert there and filling it with this amount of audiences came onto mind", with this it's evident how he holds passion as a singer.

Kim Hyunjoong is also expected to release his dance album in next May. If he is to release a solo album, definitely there will be so much more talks from people talking about SS501's disbandment. To this however, Kim Hyunjoong reaffirms that SS501 is not disbanded. "Previously if a group is to be disbanded, they will hold press conference telling everybody that 'we will be disbanded', but these days, because it's a natural splitting apart, it seems like that is the way how people tend to misunderstand and have those thoughts. But SS501 will still be appearing out public; we are not disbanded", as he gives relief to the worries of fans.

With the remaining 2 months left of 2010, Kim Hyunjoong will be spending his new year in various asian countries. Beginning off with Taiwan, he will proceed on to Malaysia, Singapore, China, Japan, and other South East asian countries etc for promotions of his drama [Playful Kiss].

During those days when they were doing activities as SS501, they always had to give up their year end to sing on stages and perform as they await the countdown bells to a brand new year, and then returning to their homes on the morning of the 1st. However now, it won't be like that already and it seems like he's liking it as he pulled a smile.

Indeed, the '4-dimensional' charm to Kim Hyunjoong exists all the time. That's why he even let in talks about the G20 Summit Conference held last 11th. He lets in about his thoughts felt back then, "I felt that it was quite peculiar for our country to hold the summit conference when we weren't even able to ge into the G7. Kim Hyun-joong said, “Actually, I thought I could get married well before 30's. Right now I don't have any girlfriend nor time for any romance, so my plan would not be successful.”

Kim Hyun-joong will be 26 years old in 2011. He just finished the shooting of 'Naughty Kiss', but has another foreign promotion schedule as well as album recording in May.”

Recently, I have contacted KyuJong and YoungSaeng. I think I will be spending this Christmas with friends including YoungSaeng.”

Kim HyunJoong talked in details about the member’s recent lives, Kim KyuJong and Heo YoungSaeng’s Decemeber fan meeting, Park JungMin preparing for his solo album, Kim HyungJun engaged in musical ‘Café-in’. A big brother’s attentiveness definitely stands out from the rest.

“When we were doing activities as 5 of us, we are able to cover for each other even when we are lacking in some ways, now that everyone is on our own, we learn that we need to work over 5 times harder. When will the 5 of us come back together? It is a really difficult yet easy thing. Even though we can come back together again any time for the sake of our fans, we cannot let them wait without any promise. It will take some time until each of us mature a little more.”

He said his sorry and gratefulness towards fans who waited endlessly for them, some day the day will come where he will repay generously to them. He also revealed an intention to hold a concert for their fans soon.

“It is not a concert for profit, I want to hold a concert solely for the fans. For them who has waited for so long, I want to plan a charity concert where the ticket price to be incredibly cheap, and all the profits to be donated. Of course, this will only be possible if all 5 agencies agree to it. (laughs) I will definitely do it.”

[News] Kim Hyun Joong states SS501 will not be disbanding

 

SS501’s leader Kim Hyun Joong strongly affirmed that that SS501 will not be disbanding.

In a recent interview, he stated, “With our members branching out into different companies, many wonder whether SS501 is disbanding or not. We were only able to move companies because we had confirmed with one another that we would continue to work as a group under the name of SS501.”

He continued, “During that time when our contracts expired, there was no company that would take in all five of us.”
Regarding SS501’s future activities, he answered, “For now, we’ll do solo albums for a bit. We’re planning to get together for a performance. Due to our companies being different, it’s difficult to get our schedules coordinated, but it will get done.”
Kim Hyun Joong concluded the interview by expressing his friendship with the other members. “I get in contact with the members every single day. Hyung Joon once said that I ignored one of his text messages at the press conference for his musical, but that’s not what happened. I was in China for the ‘Guangzhou Asian Games‘. I called him right away after the event.”

Agency B2M Entertainment said on 16-Nov “The tickets for the 2,000 audience Seoul fan meeting to be held on 4-Dec in GyeDang Hall, SangMyeong University, was released on Thursday last week and was sold out after 10 minutes, so we added 1 more session on the same day. However, the pre-sale for this which started on 15-Nov was also sold-out after 10 minutes after it started.

Agency said “This is the very first time they are meeting with fans after moving over to a new agency. We will do some security check before you enter the hall.
4.If the event canceled due to the whether or other inevitable force,
we never pay back the fee.
5.Please do not order the ticket to resale.
If we found any ticket sold in the auction or something, we will not allow seller nor purchaser
to enter the event.
6.On the event, people who don't obey to the staff and annoying other people will be

On November 15th, Kim Hyung Joon attended the press conference for “Caffeine” (held by DH Entertainment), where he expressed his thoughts on his upcoming debut as a musical actor. “I get nervous thinking about having to sing and act at the same time. However, I always tend to have fun when I’m on stage. It’s a new experience.”

When asked about his fellow members’ reactions to his casting, the singer replied, “They were all shocked. I could’ve showed a good image through my music, but when I told them about this good opportunity to act in a musical, Jung Min asked if I had any thoughts of learning from him. I ‘politely’ declined his offer and said I didn’t need his help. They all gave me their support. They’re genuinely happy for me. That’s why I’m happy.”

During the conference, the reporter asked to point out something that makes him stand out from the rest of the popular idols. Kim Hyung Joon laughed and joked, “There’s so much…”, but went on to add, “I’m bright and think positively for everything. I think that’s a strong point. It’s my first time doing a musical, but still I accepted it in a positive light, so I think it suits me well. I’m someone with a strong mindset and great endurance.”

Kim Hyung Joon also added that he’s cheerful even when the director tells him off. “I have fun even when I get told off by him. From an actor’s point of view, they’re happy even when they’re yelled at.”

The singer revealed that he has been practicing 7-8 hours a day in order to shake off his idol image on stage, and successfully deliver a performance of a great musical actor.

‘Caffeine’ will begin performances from November 24th until January 23rd of 2011.
